(1978)
This model replaced the TC-55 as the top of the range portable cassette dictating machine. It used a derivative of the mechanism employed in the TC-D5, however the DD capstan motor was replaced with a more conventional arrangement with counter-rotating flywheels, as seen previously in the TC-40 and TC-55. This mono machine included a built-in microphone and loudspeaker and was powered by four AA sized batteries. Text copyright © Walkman Central. Unauthorised reproduction prohibited.
