This model was the companion to the WM-EX314, and added an AM/FM stereo radio to the already generous list of functions that were included on the tape-only model. When compared to the WM-FX313, the extras on offer were variable Mega bass and Dolby B NR. This model was very well specified and one would have had to spend considerably more to buy a Walkman which could do any more, though its appeal was always limited by being firmly based on the entry-level WM-EX110.
